Welcome to A Wee Bit Southern! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by.
This wee brand of mine was born from two places that mean the world to me: my Scottish heritage and my life here in North Carolina, in the heart of the South. It’s a unique blend—just like my designs—and it's what gives this shop its charm.
From Handmade Products to Digital Design Files
I started A Wee Bit Southern by making laser-cut physical products—from name signs to ornaments to birthday cake toppers. The process of taking an idea and turning it into something beautiful and tangible quickly became a passion.
But life threw me a curveball. Living with chronic health conditions means some days I just can’t keep up with the physical demands of producing, packing, and shipping. That’s when I discovered the beauty of digital design.
Now, I focus on creating SVG files for other makers to use with their laser cutters. It gives me the flexibility I need—and it lets me do what I love most: design with heart and purpose.
